Both the fish plates were beyond salty but the oxtails and smothered chicken were ok. WTF man!! I've been southern all my life and have never encountered sweet black eyed peas. Collard greens - SUGAR, cabbage - SUGAR, green beans - SUGAR, black eyed peas.yes I said black eyed peas - SUGAR. Just about EVERYTHING on the menu has sugar in it including the veggies. Food came out in a reasonable time but we were so let down. We ordered oxtails, black eyed peas, fried fish, mac & cheese, blackend catfish, cabbage, garlic mashed potatoes, smothered chicken & green beans. Our server Jackira was beyond AWESOME! Very welcoming and professional. Right, more like a 50 min wait.Restaurant was full but not crowded, there were a few empty tables so we couldn't figure why the long wait. You read right, they have table service here, no cafeteria hot line at Sweet Times. We were greeted and told it would be a 30 min wait. Went for my birthday hoping for a treat, was sooooo disappointed. If the food only was as good as it looked on the pictures and price matched its real worth we left alot of food on the table and took some home but trash it went. greens too much spice had to drink water to eat them. They wont last long treating customers like this. This was a waste of time and money for these prices we could have went to a better place with great food. The manager did take off 65 DOLLARS but it should have been more since we waited so long and then food was hard like what the world maybe the location on tv will be better since they are in the spot light maybe we will try that one. ok well after others came in and sat down ordered ate and left why are we still hear with no food. we asked waitress the excuse we are cooking fresh chicken.
